Underwear on your mailbox

Did anyone else hear about next Tuesday being "underwear" day. You are supposed to hang underwear off the flag of your mailbox. It is supposed to show the appreciation you have for underwear. There was a small article about it in today N and O and also one of the local papers mentioned it last week. Will you participate? Not sure if I will unless I can hang my husband's underwear out and not mine. :mrgreen:

What about diapers? Or Pull Ups? Used of course!!!!!!

 

I'm sure the postmaster would be less than appreciative of someone doing that. You aren't supposed to hand ANYTHING off your mailbox.

I say it's extremely stupid! The first thought that popped in my mind was all the freaks out there that get off on sniff'n undies. All these freakizoids have to do is drive down the road and find the skeevy's he/she likes and VOILA! Future stalker contestant found plus as pair of undies to boot!

No, I can tell ya now that I will not be partaking in the skeevy show. :lol:

 

Heck if I put a pair of mine out there the wind might get into them and planes would be landing!

I don't think hubby has any that are "presentable" enough to put out there.

 

Oh No! I can't put any on my mailbox. My creepy neighbor will probally steal them and wear them around his neck..........

 

I guess those that go commando can't celebrate. Well that's discrimination!
