I do know that Tom did some work for the guys at ODS, recently, and he was very happy with the work. OH! Saw the car there, as well. What a beauty! I emitted a whimper of longing from across the street when I saw it parked there. Oh my!!!!
I was supposed to go over to her home on Tuesday to do the repairs and I had car problems. I did speak to Kaci about this on Tuesday and we made arrangements for last night. I totally forget that on Wednesdays my wife and I go to our connect group and I was torn between going over to Kaci's and going to connect. The wife insists that we always attend connect groups no matter what. Well,we kind of argued about me not attending last night and we cancelled our connect group and then after we cancelled Kaci called and rescheduled for Thursday(tonight). I am really sorry about the mix up and delay I am down to one vehicle now (parts to fix car won't be in till the weekend) I told Kaci that come hell or high water I will be over there tonight and the tub will be fixed. Again the car breaking down was unexpected. I am truly sorry for the delay.Yes I did post that I would be there on Tuesday and I did not expect the water pump to go on my car. I do have documentation of ordering the parts and the arrival date for the pump because it is a part that Autozone needs to order it is not an in stock part.
Tom said he was OK with the thread. He has always been pretty open, why should this be any different? If you work with the public and make yourself known on this forum it kind of comes with the territory.
I am going over there today @ 5:30 P.M. to fix the tub seal. If this was a broken water pipe that was spraying water all over the place I would have gone over there A.S.A.P. I have explained to everyone the reasons as to why I did not make it over there and have apologized for not getting there the other night. The problem will be taken care of today I assured Kaci I would be there and I will. After this problem is taken care of I am no longer going to do any other Handyman work for anyone out here on the board. I will finish up the pending jobs I have and thats it.
It is not my nature to bad mouth anyone and I will not stoop down and do that to anyone, I just have decided it would be easier for myself to just keep to myself and not offer any help. I can see that it has come back to bite me and thats my fault for not realizing this before. So I am offically done as of now with this. Please let's not attack each other out here.
You may still have to get those cars out of my toilet though so don't totally pull yourself out of the game.
You have cars in your toilet? Tom I understand that you are out of work and you were doing this to make some extra cash. If you are good at what you do then keep doing it! Have to put food on the table. Can't make everyone happy and as Michelle said - things happen. I hope things get better for ya! Keep your head up!
