I am in search of a local GP (general practitioner) that offers non-emergency night or weekend hours. And who is accepting new patients. Does anyone know of such a doctor/practice?

i would love that too, i have been trying to get DH to the dr for a check up for about a year now but the hours are always the same hours he is working and taking off most the time is not an option for him.

Well, I work in North Raleigh by Crabtree, so that area or pretty much anywhere in Raleigh would work fine. I'm just not willing to take a day off for non-emergency care. There's got to be someone!
