While standing in the back yard with my dog earlier today I was first visited by a german shepard which was followed by first one police officer and then a second one. They were after a young white male that had broken into a neighbors house while she was home. Two weeks ago another neighbors house was broken into as well as the one across the street from them. This all happened at Lassiter Place Subdivision. Has this happened in your neighborhood too?
Several years ago we installed an alarm system, mostly wanted it because of fire/smoke protection because of the pets, if we were not home, the alarm system part is good to have as well, but not enough anymore it seems. With all these recent robberies we went through the permit process few weeks back for a pistol. Now that has been completed and pistol purchased, we plan to take the conceal carry class. Thanks for the info about the area.
Annette - I'm in the subdisivion next to you. Today was busy with police, but to my knowledge, nobody has been caught yet. Do you know what time of day these offenses have occured? We just became aware of all this today. Scott
I live in this subdivision, and there were three break ins yesterday, 2 were neighbors one further down. there have been 5 since spring break. All towards the front, makes me a little nervous.
This is scary! I hope having a security system, 3 dogs inside, and a little "lead" back up helps my home!
I hope he hits your house next... :jester: You can take him out than. Instead of pirate girl you can be hero girl:cheers::cheers:
Don't know of any robberies in our hood, but we've had an unusual amount of drive by sheriff cars in the last week.
LOL No, sir! I think I'd pee my pants if I ever had to actually use it...but I would if it meant protecting my family!
Hi Scott,I think it was around 11 am and lunch time, got the surprise of my life to all of a sudden see the police dog followed by the two police officers. The asked me if I had seen a white young male with a lot of facial piercings. We live in the house that has the little pond in the back and can be seen from Forest Oaks Subdiv.
Especially on the Discussion side, where anybody can read. Even in the Neighborhood, there are literally thousands of people registered who can read what you post there.
