DS1 just blew chunks in my sink. Pizza for lunch. He has chills, fever, diarrhea and now vomiting. Will plunging work? Any ideas? ... I really don't wanna do this :ack:

Yuck ~ I don't envy you at all!!! This may sound gross, but if you have some rubber gloves...get out what you can and try plunging. If that works, use lots of soap and baking soda to get the smell out and hot water!!

Lost my craving for pizza tonight! :?

OK, not hungry here either, LOL.

But probaby what FF said, I wouldn't try to wash it down, it will just clog up your pipes.

    Good luck!!

Why don't you volunteer to help her since you have the answer?

Once you get most of it out or downthe drain, add some ketchup, enough to fill the thing and let it sit for a couple of minutes. the Vinegar cleans the residue, and the scent is less "cleansy" than 409 or something else. And, it's easy to wash with hot water.

  11. There is something going around. I'm praying that my kids won't bring it home. They already did once this year. This one is supposed to be a "violent stomach flu" - sounds scary

You need to use something to sanitize the sink after cleaning. Clorox will do it....Just in case there is any bacteria in it, or Lysol. I would have to buy a new sink!! :ack:

IF you superchlorinate the sink, AND you're on a septic system, you'll kill the bacteria that digest the "material" in your septic tank. After you superchlorinate, wait two days, and add a big honkin' pack of enzymes..like Ridex or other bacteria reloaders.

Pretty disgusting, but I heard a woman on the radio last month talk about when her youngster tossed on the carpet. She just went to bed and let the dog handle it. Next morning all was good!
