Just in case anyone has something that they would like to have done, for example, tree cutting, concrete drive way,patio,clearing,grading,re-taining wall, etc. - my husband has been doing job's such as these as well as others since he's been laid off. He's good at what he does and very dedicated! Most of his job's have come from craigslist so far but if anyone here has something that he could do,we'd appreciate it! He's done work in Clayton and surrounding areas and can supply references. Thanks! PS:I'd like to apologize in advance if posting this here is inappropriate.

I'm amazed at how fast regular posters jump all over a new poster when they are only trying to ask for help or put some helpful info out there. Would you treat a regular poster the same way? Just saying . . .
Nevermind, here it is ... This is why... Pepole don't know what they are getting into when they hire jo blow who has NO INSURANCE. Lets say for example someone's working at your house and they fall and they don't have workers comp, general liablity etc... they will sue your ***. I don't want a re-peat of what happened with monaco on this board. And i've done it with FF pimping her business here as well. I'm just looking out for my peeps so they don't get burned. :grouphug: Sandy
I just went back and re-read the OP and I don't see where she said that he did not have insurance . . .
Well, let's ask. OP, does your husband have insurance if so a business license number would be helpful for anyone who wants to hire him. Thanks in advance! :grouphug:
:iagree: and no to answer the question,he's not insured or licensed because of the cost involved, without collecting unemployment compensation he can't really afford it at the moment... Annette.
it came across as terdish to me......in the eyes of a new poster. had it been an old timer, i would have expected it.
It's really hard to know how to take some of your posts SB. Sometimes I don't know when you are being serious and when you are kidding, even with a :jester: at the end. I know that :jester: implies that you are kidding but at times that just doesn't fit with the post (if that makes sense). Anyway, I feel that if we are gonna start deciding for ourselves (instead of webbie) what is and is not appropriate around here, then we need to have official moderators instead of self-appointed ones. :jester:
