I'd like for Melissa to win just to get back at Jason and what's her name. Just kidding - she already has! I think she lucked out not ending up with Jason. I couldn't stand him. How many times can a grown man say "like?" I think sexy man deserves to win tonight. He's been the most consistent and several times the judges said they couldn't tell the difference between him and the professional. (I guess I worded that weird. You know what I mean!)

 

Shawn Johnson just won. Gilles came in 2nd. Less than 1% on the voting separated them.

 

Man! I just watched it. I really wanted Sexy Man to win! Oh well...:cry:

 

I really thought for sure he would win!!! Oh well, until next season.

Shawn wasn't considered a dancer but darn if she didn't have an advantage with what she does do. It certainly helped her in this competition.

 

Was Shawn as thick and muscular during the Olympics? She looks so "built" with really broad shoulders. I don't remember her looking like that last summer. I think also her being next to these tall, skinny dancers doesn't help. Lord knows, I wouldn't want to stand next to Melissa and her washboard abs. I would love abs like Melissa's! Of course, I guess she's never had kids but I didn't have abs like that even before kids!

 

Shawn as far as I remember has always been built like a rock so to speak...

 

I'm sad Gilles didn't win. He was the most consistent dancer the whole season and with the most points ever deserved to win. I don't get it. Oh well. At least my guy won Hell's Kitchen.

 

At least there was a < 1% difference in Gilles and Shawn's votes. I wish he had won too.

 

I know, but isn't your avatar an American Idol guy? (i obviously don't watch). Hopefully he'll win and make up for it. Man, I didn't even hear about the less than 1%. Oh man. :cry:

Fans obviously decided the winner this year and disagreed with judges. Giles had the highest scre from judges.

 

No, she was much thinner during the Olympics - but I guess you have to be to do all that jumping, flipping and hopping around, lol. Hopefully she'll not really let herself go - being so short, she'll have to watch it!

 

she mentioned this am on GMA that she is not sure if she is going back into gymnastics, is going to take a break and then see if her heart is still in it

 

Yeah, God forbid she let herself go and actually have some curves instead of looking like an anorexic garden hose her whole life.
