My daughter has the stomach flu today. She threw twice at school before 9:00am. I went to get her this morning. I was mad because she said she felt bad at home but didn't want to tell me because she didn't want to miss something at school today. I told her that's not fair to other kids. It's a huge pet peeve of mine for people to send their kids to school or church knowing they are sick. I would have never sent her to school had I known. Yuck! If your kids go to Dixon Road, beware! Her teacher told me no other kids have been sick, so maybe it will stay that way.

 

the clock on my computer has got to be broken, it says it is only 2:55 and i know i have been here at least 12 hours today:twisted:

Not that I want your child sick, so please don't take this the wrong way...but thank God it's Dixon!!! We're having a huge party Saturday, with tons of people coming, and my 5 year old catches everything...so I really hope this stays out of our school. At least until next week. (I'm praying and crossing my fingers right now!) And I really hope your daughter gets to feeling better soon. :grouphug:

Oh...trust me, I understand completely. We were supposed to be having a party Saturday too (kid free). My dad was going to keep my girls. Now, I'm not so sure. It's possibly my youngest daughter will catch it next or me! Ahhh! Hope not. Keep praying for us!

 

day two of playing golf in key west is over and now getting ready for a sunset cruise with all you can drink beer, wine and champange. then stumple back to the rental house later tonight. Found a mechanical bull last night and might ride it tomorrow night when I can get some pictures.
