Having company tomorrow and steaks on the grill. I don't have a clue!!! I'm normally a hot dog/burger girl.
I don't know if it helps but I usually use some soy sauce and a vinegar pepper combination that has brewed in the sun. Actually I am kinda of hungry for some goat right now.
a bit of italian dressing, some worsteshire sauce, beer, A_1 this after you season it with some pepper, paprika, cook it on charcoal... if possible
I don't marinate. I buy the best steak I can get, and prepare it in my ronco Set It and Forget It...Best ever...
I prefer the Lawry's Steak & Chop Marninade with garlic & cracked black pepper. Awesome stuff. We've used it on steaks from the Emporium and chicken and they are to die for.
Allegro is great, comes in different flavors. Its pretty much worcester sauce based, but really good. great for game
That sounds good but why waste a good beer by pouring it on steak? Just take a sip before you bite into the steak
I realize this is too late, but we always use montreal steak seasoning and cinnamon chipotle seasoning (both dry rubs) and they're always delish, no need for steak sauce, don't even keep it in the house!! I won't eat steak at a restaurant cause it never has a good flavor to me. We use this combo on alot of our meats on the grill - yummy!!
Thanks everyone! Because I had so much to do yesterday, I ended up getting the A-1 marinade because it was so easy. It was really good. I'll try some of the others next time for sure!
You need to watch out with your language, some on here are so afraid of terrorist they may report you! :jester:
http://nowthatsnifty.blogspot.com/2009/05/18-delicious-rodents-how-to-cook.html I may end up resorting to this if things don't pick up by the end of the year.
I've had beaver many, many times before....it's hit and miss though. Sometimes ya get a good one, sometimes they're just inedible.
I usually use what ever I come across in the fridge......seriously.....I mix and match and no two are ever the same. But they always seem to turn out really good. Craig
Thats so me... don't ask for recipes because generally it'll be different each time regardless of what I throw together.
With the exception of the age difference, i do wonder if you and my DH weren't seperated at birth sometimes... :jester:
