Does anyone know of of someone who does lawn tractor repairs in the Clayton area? Would love if they did repairs onsite as I no longer have my truck to transport it. Thanks!
On a related topic, does anyone know where to go to get a good used lawn mower? I've been checking Craigslist almost every day and the good ones are gone before I can get there (and I've had people call me while I was on my way to say that they'd sold it, even though they knew I was on my way and said they'd hold it for 30 minutes:evil or they're complete junk (wasted a lot of time looking at those). We want to spend less than $100.
I wish they had a WANTED section in the classified ads. Anyone needing a item could post it and they would contact them and strike up a deal. It would be much easier than contacting sellers and having them either have sold it or no reply (I get a lot of them). :iagree:THANKS
So sorry, I assumed that anyone that saw that I had been using Craigslist for months looking for a lawnmower and took the time to post that I WANTED one here, would be able to infer that I'd already gone that route. Thanks anyway for trying to be helpful.
I've got one you can have..... haven't used it in a year. But, it's up to you. Probably be worth it to take it to Griff's and have them tune it up. Holler. Carl 919-320-7428
Thanks for the replies. Something is wrong with the tractor deck. Not motor, that works fine, deck just will not stay in place when blades are engaged. Think a part may have come loose or something.
We had the same problem which was due to some metal fatigue on the deck. The Guy on Barber Mill road with the horse out front did a great job re-welding it.
