    Who is the best pest control place in area? I have funky millipede-y lookin things....

    they will die quicker than any pest control comp to come look at them.. I wouldn't want to be one of those millipede because they live less than a day best I remember.

    they have been here for a few days, and are everywhere.... yikes!

    I believe you are a bit off. It is at least a year on the average lifespan depending on the speices. The giant milliped, which is sometimes kept as a pet, lives for 6 or 7 years.

    thats part of mother nature just like pollen... Maybe if yard is treated for insects early spring and fall it may curtail them some.

    ..and they are fast! Gives me the creepy crawlies! I found a dead one yesterday.

    You are correct, there are so many types out there but the ones we find common here I recall hearing the lifespan as being really short, I may have heard it one time on the week end gardener but not sure and I haven't got anything at the moment to back that up.
