Sometimes you just have to give credit when and where it is due. This morning I went to Dr. Folden Lee in Clayton with a 'train wreck' in my mouth. I broke 2 teeth a couple of weeks ago at a local restaurant when I bit into a rock or bone. I also had a troubled (my last one) wisdom tooth still in my mouth. It has bothered me for about 3 years. Dr. Lee first tackled the root canal and restoration of one tooth. After that he patched up 2 more. Finally, he popped out my last wisdom tooth. He is the only dentist I have ever been to that can kill every ounce of feeling in parts of my mouth. He knows his stuff and actually listens to your opinion. He was done with me in UNDER 2 hours this morning. If you are looking for something outside the big 'chains' that know you by phone number only, you should get to know Folden Lee. Start a relationship that I promise will keep you coming back. ..............and nope, I am not family or working for him. I am a country boy that has endured many a bad dentist throughout my life....... SAL
That good info thanks, I been looking for a new dentist, nothing wrong with my current one, but I hate driving all the way to North Raleigh. Though the "rock" part concerns me a bit.
From what I have been told since, the method of harvesting beans (like the ones used in Mexican restaurants) lends to picking up pebbles. (I am not sure if this is true, it was told to me by another person that broke a tooth at a Mexican restaurant) Either way, I'm not kicking Mexican restaurants because I love them and since I eat like a starved beast when I go, I should have been more careful. As for Folden Lee, he is first class. He has a good team working there too. They treat you like a person and not a number. SAL
I absolutely LOVE Dr. Lee and his staff! They filled two cavaties in DD's mouth with NO pain killers, and she never felt a thing! He's very personable, his staff is friendly and helpful, and they've always bent over backwards to accomodate us.
Dr. Folden Lee I was in Dr. Lee's office yesterday to have an old filling removed and a new one put in. I was there 30 minutes and felt absolutely nothing from begining to end. He is the greates of all dentis and wouldn't go anywhere else but him . My husband absolutely hates dentists but had Dr. Lee pull a tooth; came back home saying that man had to be a saint to do such great work. Go Dr. Lee
Folden is a good man and dentist. I have been going to see him for a long time. Yes he sees children. I have a 4yr old boy and he loves Folden.
The restaurant should compensate you for your tooth repair. I broke a tooth on an olive pit (I know to look for them in black olives, but this one was hiding in a green one!) in Myrtle Beach several years ago, and their liability insurance took care of it. Hope you reported it to the manager at the time.
He did about 2.5 hours worth of work on me a few weeks ago. Pulled my last remaining baby tooth (yes, it was), new bridge and veneers on the fronts. Gave me a walkman and some noise reducing head phones and told me to go to my happy place and he will call me when he was done. Very good.
