I agree with Michelle. People are always posting about there neighbors and sometimes bashing them. NY didn't just come out and call the guy a freak etc. and seemed to genuinely be trying to understand why someone might do this and the effect on the family. Geez people. Most of us have been around long enough to know that pretty much anything goes. Besides, this isn't something you see in this area as far as I know so he was probably very surprised.

 

I think anyone would have to admit that it's an interesting subject. I was pretty careful to post in such a way that no one would know who or where he was. If he reads it, well then he will know that I think it's weird and a few people think it's only his business.
From what I wrote is there any way you can identify him or his family?

I thought I mentioned it, but he has two teenage children. I left most of my personal opinions out of the original post but I think that matters.

 

If you are that concerned about the teenagers then why don`t you just go over there and ask? I mean basicly thats what you are wanting from the people here. answers to questions that nobody but the person in question knows !

Let's not forget that Liberals don't care how Obama spends the money because he is Obama. Screw who gets hurt as a result.

 

Nothing wrong with considering self-interest, but it certainly should not be the only consideration.

 

Self interest is what promotes capitalism and in turn makes us the greatest country on the planet. When you start overly taxing, regulating, restricting growth in the private sector (I.E. growth of government), you demotivate productivity and you weaken the country's economy.

Liberals have this notion that the government can more efficiently create and control economic growth than the private sector when it couldn't be farther from the truth.

 

Self interest is what prompted business to instiutute company stores, payment in scrip, and the creation of economic slavery for the workers. Self interest is what created the monopolies and trusts. Self interest is why the Chinese sell adulterated products cheaply so they can make a profit. The level of greed is critical and the market will not and cannot control it effectively.

 

So are you saying that this guy should not start a cross dressing franchise unless all of his dresses are made in the USA? :mrgreen: :iagree:

 

Self interest is also what created the light bulb, the car and every other damn thing around you. You libs love to paint of picture of 1 winner = 1 loser when that isn't the case at all. I never said it was a medium for absolute utopia but it works better than government bureaus calling the shots.
