I know this has been posted here before, but I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for.

I have a ton of clothes we didn't sell at our lawn sale (all in good condition) and was going to drop it off to Basic Needs. I've never been there, but remember seeing there are only certain times I can drop off. I looked on their website, and only saw hours it was open to the public, are those the hours I can drop off? It said Monday evenings and all day Saturday.

A lot of people leave stuff outside the building when they're not open, but they had a problem with people stealing stuff from there, so I just go when they are open. Or just before they open.

will this place also take old cell phones for the women's shelter? I have a few that I'd like to donate.

I don't know but I would check the place called Pzzt (or something like that) next to that Pink store on Clayton's Main street. It is a front for Harbor Place and I brought some stuff there for the woman's shelter last week.

Also regarding Basic needs I saw Ron there this weekend but I usually just leave stuff outside.

This is what Ron (the guy who runs it) told me when we were talking last time I was in there.

I just dropped off my stuff this evening a little before 5. Someone was in there but I didn't go in, so I think it's fine. Thanks for the help everyone!

I have a question. I went to Basic Needs one night, but believe I may have went in the wrong door?? When I went in, people were sorting toothpaste and other items. I didn't see clothes or anything else for sale. What did I do wrong?
