Just talked to my daughter on her cell phone, on her way to a job interview and tied up in traffic. She is fit to be tied.

It took me from 7:30 to 8:50 to get from McGee's Crossroads to Garner via Hwy. 50 this morning. Yuck!

DH called me at 7:30 and told me 40 was backed up....took him 2.5 hrs to get to Cary from 42. I left at 9:30 - 40 was still backed up as far as I could see when I crossed over on 42 - went Cornwalis to White Oak and got on 40 there....thankfully not other back ups from there to Raleigh!

C6 is undergoing continuing education for JoCo Schools at Meredith. She left this am at 750 and got into Meredith right at 10. :-(

We just got a new machine that is being installed right now.....so I've got plenty of wood from the crates they can use.

It took me 1 hr. 15 min to go from Clayton to Raleigh near the RBC Center. I decided to come down 70, on into S. Saunders to Western. At one point on S. Saunders, there was so much water in my lane I said to myself that I wouldn't be surprised if I saw a sign that said No Wake Zone. Probably would have gotten here quicker with a boat.

I dont know how, but I got to work on time....went my normal route, 42 to cornwallis, then up Greenfield Parkway (or whatever its called in claytown) and onto 40 and to Yonkers Road. I can't explain it. I did see 40 was backed up when I crossed over it at 6:45.....far as I could see.
