    So my son's cat, the cranky tabby is STILL biting him for no reason. 3 times in the past 2 days, she has just bitten the crap out of him, drawing blood. I'm sick of it. She is not abused, he wasn't even paying any attention to her. She just runs by him and bites him. (we call it a "drive by") I can't put her outside, she's declawed. (that's not the issue, the other cat is too and does NOT exhibit this behavoir) He is nothing but sweet to her, she sleeps with him at night for crying out loud, but she will just out of the blue bite him, HARD! She doesn't do it to us, so I can't figure it out. She's been doing this on and off for years but I am about to lose all patience with her. HELP!!! I feel like I am doing a disservice to my son because we can't get her to stop it. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

    You can get a shock collar with a remote and when she attacks zap her. If that does not break the cycle it will at least even the score a bit. :lol:

    I've thought of that.................:twisted::twisted::twisted::lol:

    Actually have tried a spray bottle of water............but it doesn't help. She doesn't give any warning. One second she's fine, the next she's taken a chunk out of his arm or leg. :evil::evil:

    It sounds like one of our dogs. What ever happens to her even if it is only in her mind (even bad dreams) she takes it out on the other dog as if it were his fault.

    Something like that, I just don't know. I'm seriously contemplating calling on some family members without kids to see if they want a gorgeous, but apparently mentally deficient cat. Got one uncle who loved how "quirky" his siamese was (Geez, she was MEAN!) Maybe he'd want her..........I'd deliver her to him...............in FL. :?

    i'm sorry kdc but your thread made me laugh. My brother in VA has a cat just like that but he only attacks my sil, she says it is like he lies in wait for her and when she walks by the cat pounces and bites or scratches her, this cat is about 10yo and has been doing it since she got full grown:lol: Good luck girl, wish i could tell ya how to fix it.

    my husbands cat used to chase and bite my daughter, she was 3 when we got him and she used to run a lot and cats like moving targets. even when she wasnt running he did it. he didnt do it to others in the house. do you know this cats history? my daughter (same one) has a cat that her roommates tormented when she wasnt home and he will bite her out of the blue, on the other hand he is very loving. she is no longer in that situation! not all siamese are quirky, mine is the most loving cat, never bites,only gets mad at claw cutting time!

    Yeah, we've had her since she was about 5 weeks old. DS picked her out at a pumpkin patch in VA. She's been spoiled and wanted for nothing ever since. Ungrateful little wretch! Seriously, DS has never picked on her, or roughed her up in any way. If he had, I could understand it, but that is not the case. :? He LOVES that cat. If he wasn't so attached to her.............we wouldn't be having this discussion. :x

    I had a siamese cat that would bite my chin if I stopped petting him and put my attention elsewhere. If he would be on my lap getting lovies and I stopped, he would bite my chin, as if to say, "Umm, Hello, keep petting me!"
    At times, he would grab the back of my calf, bite and take off. Not sure if it was the siamese in him or what. He also hated his stomach touched. He would get those back feet going tryin to get you if you touched his belly. I miss that boy, rest his soul!:cry:

    That is odd! There's an animal behaviorist at the vet school as well. You could probably call your vet and see if they have any references.

    Otherwise it may be best for all involved if the cat finds a new home.
