    :boxing:

    Ordered at 6:50 pm.
    Still no pizza.

Swore the lat time was going to be the LAST TIME. Rec'd a gift card, and figured the kids would enjoy it, no harm no foul.

Absolutely, the last time. From now on, we'll give the gift cards to others.

Papa Johns service is UNACCEPTABLE. Won't order from them again. :banghead:

Did you get your pizza yet? Let us know just when you do, and what their excuse was that caused the delay. Isn't this one of the pizza places that charge a "delivery fee"? :ack:

Got the order at 8:12 Pizza and cheese sticks were slightly warm to the touch, not hot. Driver didn't seem to care about the time it took, just mumbling some pro forma, "sorry it took so long", and I still tipped him 2 bucks.

Called the toll free number..no opportunity to leave a complaint. Complaint method online is hidden and difficult to access, which makes sense if a business doesn't really care about complaints, versus one that sees complaints as an opportunity to reach out to a customer to try to retain the business.

    I didn't know there was a Papa John's at 42.

Maybe he was detained by Jake?

I started reading the thread title and got excited that a Papa John's was coming to 4042, but I think they are referring to the one in Clayton.

I don't order from them anymore because it takes forever. They are a little pricey too.

Its the one between Amelia Church Rd. and Guy Rd. on 42.

Not my favorite personally... I think I'd choose Dominos over that Papa Johns... but my real favorites are Primavera or Venero's. I still haven't tried Grand Street up here, but I've had pizza from their other locations and its good.

Yep, I agree that Venero's is good. I order online from Dominos because I can actually watch the order placed through deliver online, if needed.

I'd ask for a refund Hat!

I have yet to find a good pizza in this area. I've tried Marcos, Veneros, Pizza Inn, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Dominos, Cici's, Papas and two cousins.

Marcos had the best taste in the area, but are constantly burning the pizza. Last time I got home I had someone else's pizza.
Veneros is too cheap to add cheese to the pizza. Too greasy.
Papas (40/42) had a average tasting pizza, but I got tired of them delievering the pizza late all the time. Plus going in and having them read the Koran out loud ticked me off.
Pizza Hut (Clayton) is just plain dirty. Roaches all over the place.
Papa Johns and Dominos are just average.
Pizza Inn and Cici's is generic cardboard pizza at its best.
Two cousins ok, very greasy pizza.

I would love for them to bring Tommy's Pizza (Gettysburg, PA) to this area. I was in Gettysburg for a relatives funeral a few weeks back. That was the first place I went after the funeral (lol).

The Italian place near Lowes Foods at 42/50 has good pizza.

I can see late delivery, wrong orders, bad service as reasons to slam them.

Because they are reading a religious book? (shaking my head )
