I'm here....just debating the choice of italian/japanese/sushi in one resturant. I'm sure I'll at least give it one try.
Yeah....no kidding! My son helped to clean the place up a bit since it had been ages since it had been occupied and it needed alot of help (no offense Gray). Had to install a drain line from the front to the rear of the building so water did not pool up and seep into the bar area under the front door. I know t had been sealed but it still leaked in when it rained pretty hard. He put in a new tile floor in the kitchen area along with new appliances. Also, added a few HD TV's throughout the place with DirecTV running the show. If some of you remember correctly, the previous tenants opened up the wall in teh bar area to make it a stage. These guys went one step further and opened it up into the entry way. It looks wide open and inviting.
So Blus, does that mean the bar is not going to be separate as originally thought and just a separate dining room? BTW, what are the names of the other restaurants they own?
Table On The Green, at Midland Country Club in Pinehurst, and the Grill/Restaurant at the course in Whispering Pines.
There is two sides to the restaurant. The right side is the "Japanese" side featuring the sushi bar. The left side is the "Italian" side that has a traditional bar that serves alcohol. You can order from both menus from either side
i'm guessing but it looked like they were having their soft opening last night, lots of cars and folks in the parking lot or maybe a private party for the employees or workers?
Last night was a night that the employees got to try some of the food and mingle with the rest of the new faces. I would double check, but I think that they're opening tonight or tomorrow :allears:
so is the whole place non-smoking or is it still going to have the smoking in the bar area as originally stated?
Is there anywhere online that has the menu?? Or prices?? I would LOVE to try it...but have one picky man to feed too....Gotta make sure I wont have to take him to waffle house afterward! K
yup yup...just lemme know..I would prefer to see a menu first...just to see if I can please the 2 picky ones! If yall aren't doing anything this weekend...you, the mr and the kiddo wanna come grill some chicken? sat. night?? We can break out the slip n slide for the little kids and the bigger kids! k
It's looking good up there....they put outside seating and flower boxed and trees.....we can't wait to go eat some sushi!!!
they are open tonite - rode by on the way home and hollered at one of the 3 guys outside cleaning tables and they said tonite was the first nite and the old Sam's side is still smoking - thinking about heading up there and checking it out.
