Aside from the free movies at White Oak and the Muesums in downtown, does anyone have a ideas how to spend little coin and have maximum fun??

Monkey joes in Raleigh on Glenwood ave is a lot fun. $5 for your 2 yr old and 9.95 for your 13 yr old, Parents get in free.

Looks like fun, but their website specifically says that kids over 12 can't play....

Might be a good idea for just me and the little one though.....

Camp out at Hat's house and wait for Jake Noshoulders to appear again. That will be quite an entertaining show!

I went to the Triangle Town Center Mall today ... not something I do often. I was pleasantly surprised at all the fun activities for the kids. Many Mom's brought swim suits and towels and the kids were running through the fountains just outside of the food court. The kids were having a blast. There was also the play area downstairs in the mall for the kids to climb over. The free Friday night concerts thet take place in the Commons area of the mall from 6-9 were listed. I saw folks walking for exercise, teens just checking out the clothes and socializing and many young kids having a blast. If you brought snacks & made up your mind that you weren't really going to do any shopping, the entire family could have fun just for the cost of the gas to get there.

I do Triangle Towne Center too on really hot or really cold days. They have one of the nicer soft play areas.

A Mudcats game isn't too much and Friday nights you get free fireworks. May take little one tomorrow night.

Yeah, grab one of those Coffee News flyers from one of the local shops and there is a BOGO coupon in there for up to 4 tickets. I know one night a wek (can't remember which) they have dollar drafts.
