I know the man was a freak, but the days of "Thriller" were something else. I spent many a day dancing to all of his music.:cry:

I'm in shock .... wow.... he was young, but I guess the body can only take so much.

where he wasinto his music . it was great. but all in all he was a tad odd. and all those child molestation charges......they make me a but frustrated by him.

i wonder if he was into drugs...i know for a fact that doing drugs will give you a heart attack if you are under forty or fifty...

Not when you have had countless plastic surgeries, have been addicted to pain killers most of your adult life and led a sad life with very few real friends. Your heart can't take much of that.

Seriously, none of us knows what's in another's heart.

Thoughts and prayers going out to all their loved ones.

First off he is the same age as I am. As a kid I loved the Jackson 5 and enjoyed his albums into the 80's.

But later on he became to freakish and bizarre for my tastes. I guess the deal he made with the devil came due. Now he will be sitting at the head table with the Devil, Hitler, Dahmer, Gacy. All that's left for the devil to wait on is Manson.

And no child even at the age of 51 should die before his\her parents. I do feel sympathy for the Jackson family as a whole.

Very sad today for me. I grew up knowing both of these entertainers. Farrah was my childhood heroine. Every time, me and my friends were playing "Charlie's Angels", I had to be Jill. That was when I was about 8 or 9.

As for Michael Jackson, I love his music. I used to wear a fake red "Beat It" jacket in high school. I know many people said negative things about him, but remember, it's not our job to judge people like him.

I had a Farrah Fawcett poster hanging in my bedroom. And I use to lip sync to Jackson 5 music in the basement. I still enjoy His and the Jackson 5 music but he just became to bizzare. How many parents here would but surgery masks on their children for no apparent reason and then hang them upside down off the balcony by their ankles.

They say Michael is not a child molester but also they proved in court that O.J. Simpson didn't kill Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. And in both cases the phrase 'If the glove doesn't fit you must aquit' could be heard :)

Sorry KDsGrandma This may be the last chance for me to use all the Michael Jackson jokes I have. I feel sympathy for his family but not for him. I do feel sympathy for both Farrah Faucett and her family and also Ed McManhan and his family.

What I am seeing happening and am not liking it is that Michael Jackson's death...whatever he was, not for me to judge, between him and his maker now..... is going to overshadow Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett!

I always had to be Jill, too! Nobody ever wanted to be Sabrina. I also had all the Charlie's Angels action dolls and the Farrah Fawcett doll. Seriously it is so sad. She was such an icon and seemed like a good person too.

  20. I think because Ed and Farrah weren't surprises. Ed was old and Farrah had been suffering for quite a while. It was a total shock that Michael Jackson died. He is an icon. It seems like icons tend to die young - think Elvis, Marilyn Monroe. Michael was the King of Pop. It's too bad he turned into a white woman in his later years, but he rocked the 80's!
