Don't eat there for the next few days. One of the employees there today has pink eye and her boss is making her work. This stuff is very contagious.
A call to someone is in order if he doesn't send her home. I got sent home today. Everybody here has it.
I know where you work girl.... at a lawyer's office in Benson....but that's a whole other thread.8) I figured it was one of the girl's!!
We stopped going to that Andy's anyway...the last time we were there, the place was filthy and the help was - shall we say - not very helpful. We now go to the Andy's in front of Walmart in Clayton, across the highway from Starbucks off route 70. Things are very tasty there, the employees are very friendly and helpful, and their health inspection score was high. Thanks for the heads up though, about the pink eye. We had someone at work come down with that, and she was out the entire time she needed to be, so she could recover from it. It IS a big health issue!
We got tired of having to deal with servers with attitude, slow service, and trashy area, PLUS a low health rating. One would think that the franchisee would make the changes needed to make some coin. Cookout is kicking Andy's butt, and they don't appear to care.
She has been sent home. Apparently a customer wasn't too happy and the other employees were complaining too.
Their kid meals are a joke. Here's a paper car with a token, come back two more times and then we'll give you a plastic trinket. I just skip kids meals in general anywhere nowadays, unless it comes with free ice cream.
Yes it does spread quickly. My bf came home with it today. 4 down, 1 more to go and we will all have it.
Oh no! I'm sure one of my kids will get it... at least it's summer and they're home with me most of the time. Still, I bet they pick it up somewhere!
Since I have had a few fundraisers at this establishment I forwarded corporate a link to this thread to give them fair chance to address and rectify. Here is the response: M***: thanks for the heads up. The employee in question was sent home within 30 minutes after arriving according to our payroll records. Please feel free to pass that along to anyone concerned. We do take those situations very seriously. In addition, we were aware of the problems listed with the previous management. We have just recently installed one of our senior franchisees in that location to rectify the problems so folks should be seeing a change now. Thanks again for taking time to make us aware, and I will forward this link to him for reply. Regards, Neal Dennis, COO Andy's Burgers, Shakes, and Fries www.andysburgers.net
