OK first I know this is lame, but it still chaps me a little. Take my son up there to get a kidz meal so he can get their little transformer toys and get the bags and there is zero transformers. He did score Star Trek stuff from last months promotion but my son could care less about that he wanted his Transformer toy. So I ask about it and I am first told that what is in the bag is Transformers, (I guess I can't read) and then when I say no it's not I get pout face from two little girls who go and half hearted look in a box and say that's all they have. So now I know that Burger King is the lamest of all the fast food places. This is not the first time that a movie tie-in or some other kid promo has not been there but this one really kinda ticked me off. I will not be going back and I am sorry I went today. OH well live, and learn.
This has happened to us too at McDonald's. The kids were expecting one toy and got something entirely different!
go to walmart and buy them the toy,and healthy kidz food,put it in a paper sack and give it to them,cheaper and healthier,,
yeah, I haven't been back either. :mrgreen: DS has asked for it a couple times while traveling, but I am holding firm. :cheers:
I hate crappy meal toys. When I do fast food, I go to Chic-Fil-A. At Chic-Fil-A you can trade the "toy" for an ice cream cone.
Yep, yep. If we do eat fast food, it is normally Chic-Fil-A as well. Restaurants are clean, the help is nicer and the food is a little healthier. Anything else toy wise normally finds it's way to the trash can as soon as DS isn't looking. He's eating so much lately, we just order him a regular meal though. If we don't, he starts eyeing whatever chicken nuggets we have left. :lol: I hope he will gain a little weight. He's 57 inches tall, but only weighs 64 lbs. Beanpole!
I love burger king, but not that one. Dear Manager.... THe help you have is clueless and sometimes just plain dumb when you ask a question. Heaven help you if you order anything special. The help is never neatly attired or manicured - they mostly look like they rolled out of bed. The building grounds are usually pathetic. I have never seen the place look inviting. THe floot are dirty and the bathrooms a mess. THe overall appearance of your particular establishment is unappealing. Not becasue of the gas station either.... I had been served incorrect drink, stale buns, cold whoppers and really cold onion rings. i kept trying but you all kept messing up... Shape this place up and your business will increase.
re Transformer toys It is not just the Burger King on 42, my son wanted to go to Burger King to get one too and we went to one in Cary and they did not have the transformer toys either. He got some little stuffed bunny.
We will never go to the one at 40/42 again either. Like Peppercorns summed it up, it's nasty. The last straw for us was when there was a couple hairs in my kids fries! They didn't look like head hairs either!:ack:
like i said in the start I know it is lame but I was mad about it. won't go back ever, didn't like the place to start
