I imagine there will be a number of posts similar to this tonight. We picked up a male cocker spaniel mix (possibly basset) on Cleveland School Road after the fireworks this evening. We normally wouldn't have, but he was in the middle of the road and appeared to be in imminent danger of becoming an ex-dog. He has a current rabies tag with vet ID but that doesn't help much until Monday morning. If you or your neighbors are in search of said critter please give me a call at (919) 934-0923.
Revision... We guessed "cocker spaniel", but after spending a few hours with him it's evident there's a bit of hound in there.
