Law enforcement will be on highways this 4th. I got stopped this morning in beautiful downtown Selma at a traffic stop-checking for seat belts & whatever. Anyway he just gave this granny the slight glance & said "have a safe holiday." Drive careful & watch out for the other folks on the highways. LOL
Safety is for every day, but I'm sure you were already wearing your seatbelt when you talked to the officer so you were just passing on the safety message.
Always wear seat belt. Years ago when Fred Flintstone was around, cars did not have seat belts so people didn't wear them but after my cars started having seat belts, I always wore them. It is a good habit to get into-just buckle up each time you get into vehicle before turning key.
