They want someone to call their number and let them know who answers and report back to them. At least that's the way I read it.
Hmmmm. Not sure, but it sounds like they are saying that somehow someone is hacked in and using their phone? I guess they want someone to call the number and see if the person hacking it answers. But why post a classified? Don't they have friends and/or family that could call the number for them and see what happens? I don't know anything about phones, but how can someone hack into your phone? Sounds fishy to me.
What the heck is the point of hacking an inbound number? I could see if it was an 800 number, but anyone can get a regular phone number. And if they were hacking it to make outbound calls, it still wouldn't affect the inbound calling. Bet you $10 that this guy accidentally activated his call forwarding just before he called this escort service. My sister did that once and it took us several weeks to figure out what was going on. It would forward the calls, unless they were already on the phone, then it would ring at our house. So we were getting some of our calls, but not all of them. It took the phone company about 5 minutes to figure out and fix the problem. And seriously, why is he bothering posting here instead of calling the phone company. They can fix this! Who cares who's doing it. Get it fixed and move on. You can set it up so that the old number lists the new number, so you shouldn't lose much business.
It's obviously a scam to get you to call and then once you hear what it is they hope you're in need of their services.
yes, after seeing what I saw, she probably doesn't want to clean my house or take care of my yard. 8)
938-9197 no answer after 15 zillion rings 938-8155 disconnected I called from an unlisted number.8) skeerdy cats wouldn't answer.
I looked on Mapquest and the address listed is right across the street from C3. Maybe the phone lines got crossed up. opcorn:
LOL! Could you imagine someone calling C3 and getting an Escort service...... how funny would that be! :jester:
gosh koo, her ad says she won't answer unlisted or private numbers....maybe I should call from work.....8)
Ok, I read the ad before I saw this thread. This thread was listed in my Google search of the phone number. I also called the number listed and a young girl answered. (I said I dialed the wrong number, apologized and was quickly disconnected by the young girl...teens or early twenties) Guessing on a hunch, I'm thinking one of two things. Either this young girl has something going on that her parents have no clue about OR another person (possibly a spiteful revenge seeking teenager) is playing a very awful trick on this young girl. My vote would be to have their phone number changed completely. That's terrible for someone to have to put up with. The Google results were ENDLESS!
