I went back a few pages and can't find a reference to Jehovah's. Did you notice if the new building has windows? I've never seen a window in one of their places of worship.(I can't call it a church - sorry). I always wonder if they are hiding something. The days of door to door anything are over. Too many scammers and theives have ruined it for everyone. If it's not a Little League, Boy Scout or Girl Scout in uniform they need to stay off my porch.
One thing I didn't really see on their website (from the link) was a clear statement of faith on the divinity of Christ. To me, if you're going to claim to be a Christian-affiliated church, then the implication I get is that Christ is the central prominent figure in your worship. However, they worship "Jehovah" and view Christ as a created being or more specifically, an archangel. I fail to see how they could be considered 'Christian' if they consider Jesus to be created by "Jehovah." Muslims believe that Jesus was simply a minor prophet and that would mean they believe him to be solely human since they do not accept his divinity either. Does that make Muslims Christians as well just because they acknowledge his existence? No.
How does one do that with Wayne,Harvey,BobF,Ddrdan and anyone else that doesn't see the proper light... :jester::jester:
I'm opening a nudist camp but didn't want to get flamed for advertising here... Where is the buddhist camp... :jester:
This thread - http://www.4042.com/4042forums/showthread.php?t=25647&referrerid=6650 - makes it sound like she is working and living in Benson. VG, I don't doubt that you know folks that have accomplished alot by the age of 27, but I doubt they post on local message boards and come across as bored teenagers. It kind of reminds me of Legally Blonde.
My point was that even though it probably seemed like that she never says for a fact she does so saying there are no attorneys in Benson that match up doesn't prove a lot. It doesn't really matter since I think she's long gone. I was just presenting another point of view, which was not the general consensus and which always makes for a fun ride.
