He was talented, a great performer, a savvy businessman, he was loved by many....but school will be open on his birthday. Enough already.
If you think I'd even respond to this other than to say it's past your bedtime, you are wasting your time.
Preach it, sista girl!!!! It's a shame that we honor this type of human being while we do nothing to honor our men and women who have died defending our rights. Makes ya think doesn't it?
WE???? I honor our troops everyday,,, When I see them I make it a point to thank them, I read about them everyday and I pray for them daily... I agree,, pathetic this looney tune got the coverage he did... And his family should pay the city tab on all cost involved with that fiasco... The state can ill afford to foot the security and traffic bill this generated.
agree, I'm so over the coverage of Michael Jackson I could puke, and you just have to cut the TV off because it is on every single channel.
Sorry Seabee, I meant "we" as a country. I also thank them too and pray for them as well. THEY are the TRUE heros!
If they don't hurry up and bury him his arse is gonna go to stinking. And if they bury him in that gold casket they better post a security guard at the graveside because you know somebody will be dug him up and sold that thang.
they are already talking about a Jackson stamp. Gimmie a break, of course it will probably soon be a national holiday, which means another paid vacation day so whatever.
A holiday???? Look that would really p iss me off... that would be so BS... There is one person that died awhile back that I thought out of any would deserve a day named after him... For those who were able to enjoy this man he was mighty special,,, at least to me he was.... Bob Hope... Fabulous....
I was thinking that too... On that same note, where is Elvis buried, did they ever have any problems with him? Honestly serious question, I know he was a Huge icon as well, a bit before my time though, was he buried in a secret location? Seems to me like you said, there are a lot of whack jobs and heaven only knows what will happen to MJ's body if the public knows where it is
Elvis is buried at Graceland. They haven't had any problems. He has a stamp too. No holiday though. He also abused prescription drugs and died way before his time. He was also a musical genius and icon and had the same fanfair when he died. I was glad to be able to watch it on TV for hours and weeks. I love that they still play Elvis movie marathons on his birthday and death anniversary. I remember it like it was yesterday. There were all kinds of rumors and media stories of half truths, nonsense, gossip and lies. Women who had affairs, abused drugs with him. None of the babies he supposedly fathered ever came to fruition, thankfully. Funny how that media train derails eventually. Thank goodness.
