:jester: No doubt! I used to just walk on into Grandmother's. (she knew I was in town) but she's got a new "friend" so I don't do that NO mo.
That wouldn't be in keeping with acting all superior to us poor, ignorant, backwoods Southerner's. 8)
I said for the most part about the nosey southerner thing, its not disrespect, I think its funny and didnt even notice it until it was brought to my attention. Just think about it the next time a friendly southerner comes up and asks all those friendly questions.
What is amazing is that when us Southerners go North, those Yankees just are amazed and love when they see real manners, at least that is the experience i and my family have had:cheers:
I just talked to a guy today moving here from PA and he's in love with the area and how friendly everyone is. Not sure why that bother's some so much. Sounds like a personal problem to me.
You assume a lot, again, it doesnt bother me, just an observation, one that seems to have struck a chord with you. You can still bake cookies and bring them to my house, I'll answer the door in my briefs and give you the full tour of the house.
and a true southern girl would come right on in and take a look around, then go home and call all her friends to tell them about your package, I mean house :jester:
Apparently is must have struck a cord with YOU since you took what was intended as a lighthearted thread (hence the email FUNNY) in the title and used it as a chance to take a dig. But whatever. You have a nice day now, you hear?
I was showing houses once and a dude answered the door in his drawers. For once, I didn't mind the view. Whew!!
 I have friends that will do this and I have friends that yes I will just walk right on in and they do the same at my house
ya know what is funny, in our neighborhood the only one i know that does walk in without knocking is a true, born & raised and still braggin Yankee:lol:
