Sorry for bringing up his name. I just remember how he was going to make the fields the best in the area. What ever happen to him I wonder?

I just wanted to make parents aware that have no clue about the conditions of these fields. I also think these fields should not be used until the upgrades have been DONE. Why take the risk? Do you have to play kids spring and fall also? Then camps and challenge on top of that. Don't you think that is overkill on fields that there is no money to keep managed? If I had children playing soccer I would help out, but I don't.

If they are as you state such a safety hazard I wonder why I never heard of kids getting injured because of poor field conditions... because here at 40/42 if something local is outta whack and unsafe this place would more than ever run it thru the mill as such.

Challenge doesn't play on those fields and Turner is long gone.

Since you don't seem to know much about RECENT stuff maybe you should not comment at all.

I was just trying to point out the CURRENT field conditions to some parents who are clueless about the fields. I'll get pictures posted as soon as I can get by there. We will see who's telling the truth.

You're fighting a losing cause given the majority of people seem to have a personal investment in the program, but if you want to keep up the fight more power to ya. I don't have any investment so it's not a big deal to me. You said the fields are crap. Sounds like they are, but nobody is worried about it as far as safety and if no kids are getting hurt let them play and when and if a child does get hurt as a result they are going to have to deal with it then.

I coached. The players in U6 and U8 play all postions. It is a learning league.
