Hey that hurts - we seriously did do Christmas shopping at the flea market when my children were very little - they saved up their little allowances and then went shopping for $1 gifts for their grandparents, etc and some of those gifts were so cute and their grandparents still treasure them:lol:
I'll do most of my Christmas shopping via Amazon in November when they start running great deals on toys and games. This will cover my kids and a few small items for the neighbor's kids, plus a video game or two for dh, and Toys for Tots. Everyone else will be getting gift cards or cash. I might get real ambitious this year and do t-shirts with my kid's pictures or something similarly personalized for the grandparents and such, but that will all depend on whether I can get a good picture of the kids and find a good deal on the personalized items.
I seen a set of teeth on a table at the flea market in Fuquay a few years back. I don't know if they was for sale or somebody set them down so's they could shop and barter.
Actually it is ....150 DAYS now till the big day!! WOOO HOOOO! Alright....I'm just bored ok? I figured we all needed to all start thinking the Christmas spirit of love and happiness and joy and peace and....... :jester:
That's exactly what my woman said and we then knew that we wouldn't have to pull the crib out of storage. Thank goodness!
I heard through the grapevine (and a few reliable websites) that Target will be marking a lot of their toys down 75% any day now to make room for Christmas toys. Happy Shopping!
see i can't do that - i am crazy about finding the right gift for the right person and their likes and tastes could change in a year.
Oh you said it. I'd do anything for her. When she doesn't have time to change the oil in the mower I'll even offer to cook on the grill in order to free her up.:jester:
