Yes - she knows how to parallel park, she is just nervous about doing it during the test. She will use our smallest car to make it easier.
I've taught her how to check the oil, fill gas etc.
As for the flat, last summer we came upon an elderly lady with a flat tire and stopped to help. I used the opportunity to teach her and my youngest girl how to change a tire. I will need to go over th eprocedure for her on the car she will be driving though - thanks.

She won't have to parallel park for the test. :) Good to know basics for changing tire, but also good to have AAA for other things (dead battery, towing, changing tire in the rain)!!!

I was absent the day they did parallel parking in Driver's Ed. It wasn't on my test, and I avoid it at all costs. But I can change a tire. :)

Well I made it back safely! We went to the one in Clayton. Got there at about 8:15. No line and she got the nice red haired lady. I didn't try bringing any contraband coffee so we had no problems and she PASSED!!! She didn't have to parallel park. I think I was more nervous than she was.

So why am I so sad now???.she doesn't need daddy to take her to dance or anywhere else. Hopefully she'll talk back to me or something so I have an excuse to take her car away.

    :hurray:
It does have its advantages tho - sending them to the store and stuff, but I know what you mean - I still miss having my kids in the car w/ me. Seems we talked alot more then, had a captive audience, lol.
