sent a copy of your note to my sister - she works at a bank there and will ask people on their breaks to keep an eye out.

No the dog has not been found yet. Please keep looking. He was boarding at Bone Voyage kennel and slipped out of his leash when going back inside after being outside to potty. The dog was not wearing a collar or harness. He slipped through a crack in the fencing between the gate and post the gate latched to in the perimeter fencing.
We cornered him at a neighboring business, but an employee there let her dog out off the leash and that dog chased him to a unmowed field. We spotted him once in the field but he ran and we could not see him because he is so little and the weeds were so high.
We are doing everything we can to find him, but if anyone has any suggestions please let us know.
This is what we have done... called the highway patrol, fire department, animal control, Wake county and Johnston county shelters and posted missing dog reports on their websites. We have called local vets, mobile groomers and pet sitters to be on the lookout for him. There is an ad on craigslist. We also have people out looking for him in neighborhoods.
    Thanks for your help.

I was bee-bopping around yesterday and didn't see the little guy. I hope he's been reunited with his family.

Thanks for all of your help looking for the dog. We appreciate all the suggestions and are willing to try anything. We have posted flyers and added new one's with the dog's picture.
We also notified the department of agriculture and they have sent out emails to all kennels in North Carolina.
We picked up traps and baited them with food and set them out where he was last seen. Please keep looking and let us know if you can think of anything.

what's the dog's name? I thought just in case there is the slight chance he/she will come to someone if the name was called. Good Luck everyone and I hope he comes home real soon
