Well I have been here long enough that I think you guys know that this is not my nature.
I had my roommate move out and she left on the 1st and basically left a very very big mess in the house, I have been cleaning since Saturday. My biggest problem now is that she left behind her dog and cat. The cat well he isn't a problem at this point. The dog is, she was used to her mamma being home with her all the time (she worked in the home), and i work out of the home. She requires attention that I can't give her. I have 3 small dogs of my own. I don't have a finished fenced in yard, and I can't walk all 4 of them.
She is not housebroken enough to be left in the house over 3 hours. She needs a forever home fast! I'm already dreading what I'm going to come home to today when I get off of work.
I have a rescue that is willing to take her in but I have to wait 10 days cause of legal issues cause she isn't my dog and they said they can be sued if they take her now. I feel she has been abanded by her owner and that is a problem for me..if anyone please can foster her or give her a home I would be so happy..I can't care for her.
She gets along with my dogs, and she is a sweet girl..she loves to be outside and perks right up when I take her out..she is funny about people and has trust issues, but she isn't aggressive by no means.
Please someone help me with her.

Sorry to hear that, I guess it says a lot about who and what that roommate is... Sad... So by finished fence do you have one partially up or just none at all???

Partially up...needs work..it's a wood fence..the owner of the house started it a couple of years ago, she moved back home and didn't finish it..she didn't put the boards up right and a lot of them have fallen down. So those would have to be put back up or replaced and then the gates need to be done.
I have never had the money to finish it.

What type of dog is she?

I could possibly house her outside? Or I could lend you a crate to leave her in while you are at work??

I wish I could post a pic of her, I have one..but for the life of me I have never been able to do that here.
I'm not sure how she would do in the crate, but it would be worth a try..I would rather just find a home, or foster till the rescue can take her..cause they will give her everything she needs, shots and get her fixed ext..if I find a home and I don't know the people they may not do all those things for her.

I'm not sure what she is, lol..she is funny looking and she has extra toes on her back feet lol...she is smart though, and she listen when I talk to her.
Big ears that stick up..she is short legged..another friend of mine though corgi/chihuahua mix maybe lol.

oh wow thanks for doing that!!!! That should help out a lot...
I have been trying for the last 2 days not to post my personal problems on here, but she really needs a better home..she is laying by my feet now, but when I go to pet her she ducks down...makes me wonder what was going on when I wasn't home.

Any luck finding a foster home for your little dog? Is she spayed?

No, and to make this very very clear to anyone this is NOT my dog...this is my ex roommates dog that she left behind. I would never ever do this to one of my own.
The dog has had no shots and is not spayed.

This sweetheart of a dog is here with us, making friends with my 3 dogs. She is skittish, but of course that goes with the territory

She does not know what to do with the huge fenced in "playground", so she is primarily just sniffing and watching the others. So far, so good with our dogs not being aggressive, which is what I initially was nervous about. Let's keep our fingers crossed that all goes well...

I just read this for the first time also - cute pup look at those ears!

    :hurray: evertthing worked out

BTW - it wouldn't hurt to change the dogs name - they will learn the new one fast. . .I do it with all I take in, just to give them a fresh start on life :)
