GCAA Fall Softball Camp and Registration GCAA Softball Committee will be putting on a one day Softball Skills Camp on Saturday August 22nd from 9 to 12 on Field 1 at the GCAA Complex. This will also be the absolute last day you can register for the Fall Softball season. The camp is for girls ages 5-12 and for girls of ALL skill levels. The instructors will be coaches from the GCAA organization. We will work on running, catching, throwing, and of course HITTING. We will also have someone to work exclusively with aspiring catchers. This will be a good way to get back in the swing of things for the season or introduce softball to your daughter and have a lot of fun doing it. We will work on running, catching, throwing, and of course HITTING. Seems to be alot in only a 3 hour span. How much time do they spent on each activity?
We will split the girls into groups and run them through 5 or 6 different skills stations. Each station will run about 15 minutes. After everyone has gone through the stations we will have a skills competion just to have a little fun.

This will be a good way to get back in the swing of things for the season or introduce softball to your daughter and have a lot of fun doing it. This isn't about camp, but I've been trying to find out when fall baseball starts. I signed my son up but can't find anything on the gcaa website about time frame of season. Would you happen to know?
I know that online registration ends this Saturday so practices wouldn't start until after that. I will get more info for you.
