So I'm just dreaming here, but where is the best, all inclusive resort in the Caribbean to go? Looking for white sandy beaches that are silky (not rocky sand) and crystal clear water where I can see my feet. Dreaming of laying near palm trees with an umbrella drink in my hand. I think I've been watching too many episodes of House Hunters International but it's got me thinking if I could go, where would I go?

The Sandals resorts have some great deals right now! I REALLY want to try one, they are all over too. Jamaica, Antigua, Bahamas and all-inclusive!!

also www.cheapcarribean.com has some awesome looking deals! Whenever I see something I like there, I always check the place on www.tripadvisor.com too to see what others have to say.

We were planning on taking a nice trip either this fall or next spring, fall is our 25th anniv and spring will be the big 50 for both of us....but now, since dh's layoff, probably not.....

Speaking of Caribbean, has anyone ever heard of MSC Cruises?

Yes, I saw the one last night. I'm really surprised they selected the house they did. I liked the second one, but I agreed that the lap pool was not as nice as the first house's pool which they chose. I'm so addicted to House Hunters now! We've seen some episodes on other Caribbean areas but can't remember which were more like what I want.

LOL, I know what u mean. I have the dvr set-up to record the new episodes. Its nice to see the nice places and make me feel good about my house when I see some of those really dumpy places in Europe, not that I wouldn't mind visiting there - but don't think I'd want to live like they do. Turks and Caicos (sp?) looks very nice too!!

Make sure you check the weather where you are going before you book. You don't want to go during the rainey season or during the tropical storm season.
My Aunt and Uncle made that mistake and had a rough trip... Take Care!!

It's not Caribbean, but The Fairmont at Southhampton Bermuda is great. Pink sand beaches. The view from the Ocean Club at sundown is unbelievable.

Yes. Have you ever cruised before? What lines? Just asking so that I can make a good comparison for you.

We send a lot of clients to Couples Swept Away in Jamaica, and they all love it. A lot depends on your budget, too.

Yes, I went on the Disney cruise in 1992 when it was owned by Premier and still affordable, and on Carnival in 1993. The MSC cruise we are considering is the Poesia that sails from Ft. Lauderdale on Feb. 27. Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

MSC is the current leader because children sail free (except $66 for port fees) and they have a lot of ports. I'm not liking the three or four days at sea for seven day cruises that I am seeing lately.
