Just want to get a feed back of others here on this. I was coming home Monday evening and in my subdivision I was coming down the road to turn at the crossroads to turn on my street and there setting in the middle of the road was setting a stroller. Moms I just about lost it. I thought oh my god a baby left in a stroller unattended. But as I came closer it was a stuffed monkey. Two younge teeneagers were hunched down in the ditch video taping stuff for U-Tube. My thoughts went from a baby in danger to how dare do this to anyone. I would have jumped out and grabbed that baby from danger and called 911. Maybe I should have but I was wise enough to look at the whole situation and spot the hand holding a camera. I put my window down and told the younge boys how dangerous that was to anyone, a person could have an accident by swerving to miss that stroller into the stop sign or scare someone so bad. Just be on the look out for pranksters in one of our neighborhoods. It looks like it is time for school to go back in session. To many bored kids. But wanted to warn others of what happened to me. Any suggestions on what you would have done in the moment? I do not think they thought the whole situtation out. But I know kids will be kids but wow. What a moment.

I would have called the cops ASAP even if it wasn't a real baby. They need to have their sorry arses handed to them.

It doesn't sound funny at all, however a lot of folks who would see stuff like this on the Internet or TV would find it humorous...unless you're the butt of the joke. The problem is this could not only cause a serious accident, but mean unnecessary time spent by emergency personnel. Its about like pranksters or souvenir collectors who steal road signs and cause accidents. Some people have a wierd sense of humor.

I wanted to really warn folks to this

I would have called 911 but I had been sick and did not think with the heat and all the emergency people did not have time to waste to some younge kids acting dumb and danegerous. I did the best I could do at the moment to disarm a dangerous moment. I do beleive I know where these boys live. If their smart they will not pull that again. I should have grabbed the stroller and tell them to have their mom come and get it. So I could point out that what they did was so dangerous in intersection that it was done at. I am thankful no one was hurt and sure hope I put the fear of god in them. I was so mad. Maybe I need to check U-Tube to see if I am got taped yelling at them .. would not be suprised. Maybe a little. Just be on the watch out for these little pranksters. School is not in session yet. I have no idea what thier next attempt at U-Tube maybe.

    OMG, I agree.

After I realized there was no baby, and discovered I was being filmed. I would have simply gotten the monkey out, cradled it (like it was a real baby) cooed at it as I was walking back to my car, say loudly enough for the videographer's to hear "OMG, I have always wanted a monkey". Gotten in my car and drove off. LOL'ing all the way.

OMG!!! If you know who the parents are, I would tell them! They were endangering their own lives. If someone had tried to avoid the stroller, they could have very well gone into the ditch and run over these children. As a parent, I would want to know.

What morons! I would definitely tell their parents and then show them the video as proof. Especially since one of the kids is stupid enough to show his face on the video. And I think you were much nicer to them than I would have been!

That was just the stupidiest thing I have ever seen. That guy looked like he was missing most of his marbles, sick humor. They have to much time on their hands and to much freedom... I'm glad you didn't have to move to avoid it, if another car had been coming it would be tragic. NO SENSE AT ALL IF YOU ASK ME!!!

that was the least funny thing I've ever seen, and i want my time back. The green screen stuff was especially weak.

When I first started reading this, I thought you must live in a neighborhood that was trying to deal with speeding problems that could potentially harm a child playing nearby....

Though I'd like to keep thinking this was an ill-advised "safety project video" for the neighborhood, school or scouts and that maybe drivers are proceeding with caution because of it, I find thoughts of my mother's "infinite" wisdom very comforting... which echoe:

"As we all think of all the bad this could have caused , try to find some good or benefit!"

On a much lighter note, but most of all, don't forget to think of those "actually" affected or dealing with situations....we can only hope the best for the mother who's stolen baby was replaced by a monkey!

I agree with seabee and kb... and did I see a 4-way intersection and stop signs? How fast do you people go in your subdivision where you are worried about folks swerving and accidents happening due to something being in the road?

Actually it's a 2 way stop. Where the little darlings had it positioned is such that you would turn left into it with no stop required. Thus, the set up.

Why aren't they out mowing grass or doing ANYTHING productive?

That's what I mean, they have to much time on their hands. Idle Hands are the Devils workshop!!
