My husband has always assured me that the lyrics to "Eyes Without A Face" is actually a druken slurred invitation: "...howz about a date...?" :)

  8. In Lady Gaga's Pokerface, she says "Can't read my, can't read my... pokerface. My youngest daughter asked me why she keeps talking about carrots. After that, when I listened, it sounds like she's saying "Carrot mind, carrot mind..." Kids always hear something different!

    My version:
"If you don't clean your feet you can't have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don't clean your feet?"

    Correct version:

"If you don't eat your meat you can't have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?"

The one big Oak Ridge Boys crossover during the eighties...Elvira, which frightened my grandmother until she realized what they were saying.

"My hearts on fire for Hell Fire...boom-bappa-boom-boppa-mow-mow. Obviously, they were saying, "Elvira."

Up until about 2 years ago I always thought the lyrics for Marshal Tucker was "heard it in a love song, ten feet long". One day my wife heard me singing it-and after her fit of laughter explained to me it is actually: "heard it in a love song-can't be wrong"
