Stroller set up in middle of intersection of Sub, by kids

This is a tough one. Seabeelol meant to be funny but a driver could have hit it and had a heart attack. It was in poor taste. I think I would have pulled the kids by the ear and taken them to their parents. It sounds harmless, but they needed to be shown that it was in poor taste.

That being said, I'm glad there was no Youtube when I was a kid. We had to create our own fun. Things like throwing eggs at moving cars was a weekly event. We wouldnt intentionally hurt anyone, but we were mischievous. Once we spread a load of cow manure all over our principals driveway. Then we dismantles the spreader and rebuilt it on the roof of the school .Harmless, but dumb. I imagine that we would have been stupid enough to put it on Youtube and get caught.

 

If I knew the parents of the kids personally, I wouldn't hesitate to talk to the parents directly first. But after having a bad experience with trying to let a parent (who I didn't know) be aware that their child had been doing something very dangerous while they were at work and in fact another child had been hurt (not seriously thank goodness) I learned it wasn't worth it. The parent just took the kids side and two days later the kid was right back out there doing it again. I was NOT trying to parent someone else's child but witnessed a pretty scary accident and thought I was being the "good neighbor" letting them know. Ask some teachers these days and they'll tell you that when they call a student's parents the parents many times try to turn it around and blame the teacher. It all boils down to a lack of respect between some kids and the rest of the world. So I'm all for letting law enforcement be the one to knock on the door and just nicely remind them what is acceptable and what is not.

 

It wasn't word for word, but it sure rang true.. You're a little over-invested in this particular topic. And weren't you the same poster who said they did carpool so your kids wouldn't have to be subjected to other "people's disastrous failures at parenthood,... ". That *is* a direct quote....

And I'm thinking, you're the same poster who said that AIG and TIP was just for parents to have bragging rights and your kids didn't need to take part in it to go places. Was that you? I could look at all your posts, but I kind of need to make dinner.

I said in all honesty I didn't know what he was doing, which was the truth, his behavior was questionable/ suspect/ and possibly "mis-behaving".

I never went up to the guy's car window and asked him if he was dealing drugs. So for me to say that anything beyond what I did write would and could be total falsehoods.
