Folks, in Tampa, you can find a sports bar/ CDH kind of place for every team on the NFL, so even if you prefer the Bills over the Jets, or the Seahawks over the Bucs, you can find a place that has a fan base for a particular team. Anywhere nearby (other than Lambeau South) where folks can follow the Packers? We've had some folks that asked us, and we're almost running out of room, not to mention brats (food, not kids), brew and bar service.
While the bar itself has a huge Squealers fan base, McKinley's does have a quite a few different fans that show up for every game. And with the NFL Sunday ticket they have every single game each week, even those blacked out in certain areas. Sadly enough the Giants fans far outnumbered the Panthers fans last night for preseason Monday night football.
Usually there Monday(spaghetti night), Tuesday(trivia night), Thursday(steak night), now and then on Friday and Saturday, and always there during the day on Sunday for the wings and now football.
You get your mail delivered there? No margaritas on Wednesday, huh? Was there last night myself for spaghetti night.
Great question! I am a huge Packers fan as well. We just got Sunday Ticket this year so I don't have plans to go to the bar and watch games. I know that Woody's in Cary used to have a Packer fan club but I haven't been there in some time. Honestly, I find you can meet Packer fans at just about any sports bar. GoWulfpack: You're funny. Who's your NFL team?
It's been a while since I've been but we used to go to Sammy's Tap & Grill in Raleigh on Avent Ferry right off Western Blvd. That used to be an awesome place to watch football games.
Anyone know if CDH, Clubhouse, or Mck's..or any other local venues would welcome drinking, eating, cheering Packer fans?
Been to the Draft House before and there are PLENTY of fans on BOTH sides of the field. No rough stuff though. Just friendly competition and
I know McK's does, and imagine that CDH would as well. Don't know about the Clubhouse and what they offer for games
