Hwy 42 walmart opening

It seems as though the craft depts at both hwy 70 and 42 are alot heavier on the scrapbooking items too. I noticed a good supply of those Cricut things, and lots of other scrapbooking tools and accessories.

I wish we would get a nice new Piggly Wiggly! We've shopped in newer ones at Myrtle Beach and near Shallotte and they were great! Love the deli and fresh produce sections.

 

I did!! good catch....you know me well. I am sad that the season is almost over too. The last watermelon I got was kinda mushy, but thats ok, outta the 75 I bought, one mushy one doesn't matter.

 

Piggly Wiggly always has great meat and meat prices. Hard to beat!

For the record, I've never been a smoker. 8) I just don't think it looks good to have employees loitering around outside the entrance. But that's just me. I'm sure Walmart could care less what my opinion is.

 

Well, we ventured out there today, it wasn't too crowded. Nice and clean, let's see how long that will last...:lol:

 

Funny Walmart doesn't have a smoking policy, while Lowe's next door is absolutely smoke free, employees not allowed to smoke on the grounds at all!

 

Went last night and LOVED it! HUGE selection of everything we were looking for and I love the grocery section. Hope the cleanliness lasts forever :lol:

 

the stupid thing was there was nothing at night for the working person that keeps them afloat.. no specials, nothing... i thought that was lame...i thought the specials would be for at least 24 hours.;.

I'm thinking they will have some good deals at their official grand opening on the 29th.

I saw some pretty good deals while in there.

 

I went there again this weekend and noticed that they now have picnic benches on the side so the employees can smoke over there and not at the front door. So that is much better than the first day where they were smoking at the front door. I got some really good buys this week on groceries!
