I just got back from Walmart, and I'm still fuming...not at Walmart, per se, but at the bank inside Walmart. While in line to check out, I noticed a movie playing in the bank. Don't know what it was since I'd never seen it before, but it should not have been playing where children could see it. It wasn't the scene with the homeless person spitting on the cops that bothered me (although I didn't like that). It wasn't the behavior of the characters on the subway (although it was inappropriate) that upset me. However, when the characters began dancing on a table and one very large woman pulled her pants down and mooned the camera, showing her very enormous and naked rear on the tv, I lost it. Honestly, how many little kids saw that while waiting in line with their parents? I did speak to the manager who then spoke to the bank manager, but that movie should not have been playing to begin with!

:iagree: why were they playing movies in a bank anyway... :banghead:
If it was to keep kids entertained, you'd think they have something more kid friendly.

Well, maybe the managers pull their heads out of a dark place and decided to do like most banks...simply put on CNN, HLN or FOX.

This reminds me of the day I was in the Wal-Mart in Clayton and the lady had the totally naked stripper on the back of her shirt. And I mean in detail naked..nothing left to the imagination.

There is an easy two step solution for this.

    1) Join a Credit Union

    2) Shop at Target - they don't rent space to banks that play dirty movies.

You're welcome. I accept most insurance plans.

a simple and practical solution. I stopped shopping at walmart due to several concerns, target man now. Never looked back!

I'll sure be glad when they get that new Target up and running out here . . .

There was something in the paper a while back (before they started building the hospital) that there might be one built new the new hospital. Seems it would be to close to White Oak though.

Since Johnston County has no Target, it needs to be probably be out near where the 70 BYP-70 BUS split occurs east of Clayton. That would be perfect solution for Smithfield and Selma, Clayton and even those in Benson, McGee's and 4042.

Maybe if I put a www.target.com on here, they'll backtrack the link to here and find my suggestion. You get extra credit, if you build a Super Target.

Know what you mean when you say inapproriate. Some folks just do not think about such things. I was in Golden Corral couple weeks ago & a redneck was wearing a T shirt saying something about "10 things to do to a wild p---y." I know they were suggesting a cat cause there were several pictures of cats on the back on said shirt but PLEASE!

I can't imagine that it would be any closer than the one thats close to White Oak, on the same road, at Timber Drive.

I keep wishing a Target would make into JoCo.

I'm boycotting CiCi's now. Went there the other week and they have two TV's playing - one in each corner. I usually seat the girls with their back to the TV but on this particular day I didn't - I must have forgotten about the TVs, I dunno - we don't eat out much - it's a treat. Anyway, one TV has a cartoon on and the other one has a shoot-em-up gangster movie on.

Why are TVs even necessary in a restaurant like that anyway? Or at a bank? Or anwhere except a sports bar type place? TVs at gas pumps now, one day I meant to just put in a few bucks and went over because I was watching the little TV.

Which one was it? Usually, the ones I have visited had Nick on one and FOX or CNN on the other. Its the McDonalds that I don't care for. Usually they show only Cartoon Network and their programming has changed a lot over the years. Where they used to show decent cartoons, many of them are just plain wierd.
