It looked very hungry and thirsty. I could tell right away the little dog has been miss treated. I rushed into the house and grabbed some dog food and some fresh ice cold water. I gave it to the little dog and he drank the whole bowl of water very quickly. I brought the little dog to the back of my house; put a collar on it and put it on my dogs runner. I left to contiune on what I had to do. I stopped by the store and picked up some wet dog food. I came home the little dog was sitting happily in my back yard. I gave it a bath and then feed him dinner. I have called several pounds and no one as reported a missing dog. To be honest, I really do not want to give it back to its owner. Because when I walk up to it .. it just neal's down and puts its tail under himself. I feel really bad for this dog. I would LOVE to keep it but I have 2 dogs of my own and a cat. I would LOVE to give the little dog to a good home and for someone who has a little extra money to take good care of this dog. I am going to put some flea stuff on him today .. He has some missing teeth on the lower part of his mouth. His ears are really dirty so I looked up online for "home remedies for ear mites" and I am going to try to clean his ears out today. Oh he does sound sweet. I have always said I want to have a hundred acres of land be able to adopt a bunch of dogs that need homes. I just want to be able to save them all :cry:
