4042'ers, Let me be among the first to invite you to: The Reveille Show This local grassroots effort has been spearheaded by Emilie Schmidt, who owns our local post office, in an effort to provide some financial relief to our local troop families. You can read all about it here: http://www.reveilleshow.org/Home_Page.html There are at least 3 4042'ers that I know of (if more of you are signed up, I apologize, I just don't know your "handle") who are performing in this night of music, dance, and fun. We've been practicing for several months now, and we're less than two months away from the show. It's going to be great! Show date is Saturday, September 19th at the Clayton Center, and I'd love nothing more than to see this place PACKED! Kid friendly, family friendly, fun event. Tickets are available online, or you can contact me and I'll hand deliver them to you. They're $13 in advance or $15 at the door. Come out for a great cause, and to meet some of your local 4042 talent!
had every intention on coming but DH has decided that for his birthday which is the 19th too, he wants to go to the beach camping before the season is over, we only have been once this year and that was in May - hopefully someone will be recording it and i can get a DVD for a price (another way to raise funds?)
Okay.....I am going to pimp this thing until it happens. For $13 bucks people, you get over 2 hours of entertainment, funny, heartfelt, emotional, patriotic entertainment. You get to see 4042'ers (Shardee, Aglassnut, me, am I forgetting anyone?) perform for you live on stage. You pay postage for one flat rate military box so that a local family doesn't have to. Do it as date night. Go have an early dinner, then join us at the show. Where else can you go on date night for $13 each? It'll cost that much at the movies! OR Bring the kids! Let them have the thrill and excitement of a live performance and explain what it's for. Teach them young. I hope to see you ALL there!
