of course I am willing to bet the 75 grand per episode they get does not hurt them not being in debt either...
I am sorry, this lady has problems...in my opinion.

and sorry SB...I am not answering that either...LOL

To each their own as long as they can support them. My parents had 10 of us and my mom always said she wish she would have had 2 more.

I had 2 and wished I had 22 more. Cheaper by the dozen.

I feel sorry for this woman because it seems she only feels validated when pregnant. What kind of life is that? I bet she'll have a nervous breakdown when she starts going through menopause and loses the ability to get pregnant. And the husband must really be insecure judging from how often he feels the need to prove he is a "man"... JMHO

  5. I know I said I would keep my mouth shut, but I just have to say this. I'm sorry if it's being judgmental. These parents may be nice, Christian people but how much quality time can you actually spend with each of 19 children? It's hard enough for me to spend enough time with the two I have. Could you actually sit down and read a book with each one or take one to get ice cream? Would there be ANY one-on-one time? I think that children want to spend time with their parents and not always with the the company of all of their siblings. If I had 17 other kids, I don't think there's anyway I could be as close to my two precious girls as I am today. Family is about relationship. Cats have litters, not people. IMHO

Another thing I wonder is if they want that many children, why don't they adopt any? If I wanted any more kids, I'd choose adoption any day over being pregnant again!

personaly I have seen the show maybe half a dozen times, they work they take care of their own they are not on welfare , they seem to be happy, they are not hurting anyone, and for having that many kids she looks good.

I agree 18 kids would drive me nuts but they seem to be handeling it well. I might add that and the kids seem to be kind, caring, helpfull, and are not out drinking, drugging , and stealing like some people who only have a few kids. So well if It works for them and they are not hurting anyone I say live and let live.

Comments about the womans personal parts are just rude and immature.

I can't figure out how all of the kids could get enough attention. I mean 19!!! Even if each kid got their own special day (or half day) it would be almost a month before you got your next one!!! And it's nice if they have a lot of time where they are all together, but I do believe kids need that extra time alone with their parents. John and Kate have major issues, but they do seem to make an effort to spend time with each of their kids so they have their special days with mom and dad.

My dad had a total of 14 brothers & sisters. They lived on a farm and everyone worked the farm till they all grew up an moved away. I think it's great that these people are having theses kids.

Growing up we all met at my grand parents after church for Sunday dinner. With all the aunts, uncles, and cousins, dinner meant a table for 50 to 60 people. It was the highlight of the week. It was like going to a family reunion every Sunday.

PS: Their oldest is having a baby soon. This new baby (#19) will be younger than it's niece or nephew to come.

I don't think they are in debt, at least they weren't a few years ago. They are budget-conscious and support themselves. I say let them have all the kids they want as long as they are paying for them. We need their votes. How many conservatives do you think are on welfare popping out babies left & right?
