Okay, I just read this thread. Momof3grls can't really be a mom of three girls. If she is, I feel sorry for those girls. She is probably a he and probably around 17.
The film did not give you the whole story. They did what the media does best, they gave you half the facts. I'd like to know if the owner allows the cat to roam free? If "Rescuers" found the cat then it had to be off the owners property. Could it be that the cat was on someone else's property where it should not have been and doing something it should not have been doing to their property? And one of those people enforced their rights to protection of property? If the cat was on the owners property the person who shot it needs to be prosecuted. If not, the owner needs to be prosecuted for endangering the cat by letting it roam free. The liability for animal cruelty is a 2 way street.
