I've never been there and I was wondering if anyone here would recommend it,do they also have good pizza? Which other restaurant could you recommend to take visiting family too? Thanks!
This was the past thread for them http://www.4042.com/4042forums/showthread.php?t=16232&highlight=lapiazza
Thanks for the link,I read some of it,but was hoping that there might have been some more recent posts about it.
Wife & I ate there the other night. Food & service were both very good. We did not have the pizza, but we did see some people that had it, and it looked very good.
If you are talking about the one in the Lowes Food shopping center I was not impressed. I had the pizza and it tasted like frozen dough. Its just plain Italian food nothing to fancy.
I have not personally been there, but a friend went there with her family and had the pizza. They advertised all you could eat for a certain price (don't remember what the price was) - she said that it was very deceptive - can't remember the exact deal - think you had to order 1 pizza at a time and you got charged if there was any left - something like that. I like Marco's specialty pizza - the Calzone Pizza - YUMMY! It has no red sauce, ricotta cheese, olive oil, garlic and ham.
Jimmy V's for a great steak! Skyline's has a new chef and the food is very good. Maximillion's on chapel hill road exit 290 is excellent! I like the pizza at Grand Street.
The Baked Ziti is to die for, the Chicken Parm is awesome too. The fiance and I frequent La Piazza about once a week, if not more. The owners are very friendly and always concerned with the quality of food and service.
