Anyone know of a mattress or furniture store that sells the mattresses and box springs separately? We have a decent boxspring, just need a new mattress for DS. Looking for local, Clayton, Garner, Smithfield areas. Thanks!

Original Mattress Factory at White Oak. We're planning to do the same this weekend! We have looked a lot and they seem to be reasonable and the guy was pleasant (not pushy). I have seen others on here who recommend as well. Good luck!

I believe you can buy them separately at Sam's Club. They were runnign soem kind of special on either Sealy or Serta; don't know if it's over or not. I'd also check Big Lots.

Just be sure to check the warranty. Sometimes if you buy the mattress without the box springs it voids it.

This is what they told me at the place out on 70 next to Sears.

In the end I bought both pieces it at Ashley furniture. This mattress rocks. Wait, that doesn't sound right. It's really comfortable.
