Trust me....next time I'm there I will stand there and open everything to make sure it's right. But in general That is the reason I go into the fast food places is because it's usually less likely that you will get a screwed up order from the counter.



And now I'm gonna have to take out my frustrations on the McK's staff and bar patrons tonight...:jester:

Every time I go in there they screw it up. I'm tired of being ignored, or told "we don't sell that" even if it's on the effin' menu board. I go to 40/42 unless I have no option.

BTW -and I'm sure I'm not the only wage slave that runs up 40 every day-the TB (unfortunate initials for a restaurant!) up at 54/55-RTP in Durham always get it right and they are wa-ay nicer than I could ever be for minimum wage!

 

That place has been bad since I moved to JoCo in 1991. When they switched to the dual menu it only got worse.

 

Fast food is the last option for us but we have to do it about once or twice a month. So tonight we were in a hurry because I got out of work late and had to take the youngest to Benson. I went through the drive thru at the McDonalds at Exit 319 / McGee's Crossroads. Now I have to give this McDonalds high marks for this area. They do a good job. - Normally.

I ordered a Quarter Pounder Combo with a Diet Coke and then another medium Fry and A medium Sweet Tea.

Get to the window, she hands it to me and sends me on my way - no tea. I back up and got a tea. No straw.

It can't be that hard is it?

At least they were friendly.

The girl taking the money was a teenager, the one giving the money was an older lady. They were both very friendly. I couldn't get upset with them. All I could think of was this thread. Must be karma.

 

Hands down the worst fast food restaurant is the one that has a Long John Silver's in it in Knightdale. Once in a great while, I'll get a craving for LJS and head over there. Every. Single. Time. I've been in there, there has been another customer berating the manager for poor service. They are unbelievably slow. We once waited over 30 minutes for it. Yeah, never again.
