THE Jeffrey Macdonald???? OMG! I've read the book and seen the movie and I'm convinced that he is guilty.
it wasn't THE, but he was from fayetteville, and he was mentally unstable. what do i think of the case? acid is groovy, kill the pigs... he did it.
He did it. Jury found him guilty of it, and the jury included a Green Beret. If there was any shadow of a doubt, it'd have been a hung jury. I went to school with Glenn Campbell's wife, Kim. And another of our classmates is the chief counsel for a Cabinet Secretary in DC. At our most recent reunion, a classmate who allegedly used to partake of a certain illegal herb (tons, according to him, now) now operates a lawn care and landscaping business. in his mind, he went form growing it and smoking it to mowing it. And he says this with a tone that invites us to laugh with him. I guess if he gets glaucoma, he'll be steps ahead of me in getting relief from intraocular pressure.
KB is right as rain. Their sentences were not severe enough. Same as for the guy who murdered his wife scuba diving in Australia. His sentence was in insult to her family and the family of man.
