How to make a cat gag using a coin and a comb. This poor cat named Cleo, of all names, undergoes torture by Richard Cheney. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNDj2q9pzZ0&feature=player_embedded
The site I got it from had a lot of commentators that said it worked on their cats. Must be wired in their DNA.
Thats why i asked if it works on big cats. Budget safari protection. "OH. you thought you were gonna eat ME?! No... you're gonna lose your lunch, foo! I GOTS A COMB!"
Didn't work on mine either...and believe me, my kids tried and tried and tried. They gave up on that and went after his licky spot on his back. He will almost lick and gnaw his paw off when you touch it. Cruel, but funny to watch!
I'm not about to try it, but I believe it would make a difference as to the type of comb you used - as in composition. The comb in the video was the more inexpensive plastic - the kind that can have teeth broken. I can only guess that the gag reflex comes with that kind of comb and coin (or anything of that shape which is hard because of the sound (tone) Cat owners will mostly all agree that cats make THE most hideous sounds when they vomit/cough up hairballs. . .You know how some humans can just hear another human vomit and will gag or vomit themselves? I think that's what's in play here.
